“Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration” Nighttime Spectacular Adds Two More October Showtimes

As we reported a few days ago, Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration is slated to return to Universal Studios Florida tonight, October 24, at 9:45 PM. Now Universal Orlando’s showtimes page has updated to show the nighttime spectacular is also scheduled for October 25 and October 31.

Despite the updates, Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration’s page still states the show is “temporarily closed.” It’s likely these three showings are a test run to determine if it is feasible for the show to reopen more permanently.

Universal Orlando describes the spectacular as an epic show with a colossal celebration of music, water and light that transforms the park and “takes you into the movies like never before.” The show takes place within the central lagoon of Universal Studios Florida, with dedicated viewing along the Central Park grass.

As music from the world’s biggest films fills the air, scores of shining, dancing fountains erupt. Massive walls of water blaze with incredible movie moments and powerful projections bring the entire waterfront into the movies. You’ll see and hear roaring dinosaurs from Jurassic World, feel the adrenaline rush of high-speed cars from Fast & Furious, watch the mischievous antics of the Minions from Illumination’s Despicable Me, and so much more.

Keep checking Universal Parks News Today for updates about the status of the show.
