Walt Disney World Maingate Complex COVID-19 Testing Site Switches to Walk-Up Testing

The COVID-19 testing site at the Maingate complex in Walt Disney World has made a few changes to make testing easier moving forward. The testing site first opened back in August as a drive-thru site that required reservations. From now on, the site will be walk-up and does not require reservations.

Cast Members, their families, and the general public can be tested at the Maingate complex. They can now park in a designated area and walk up to the testing site, which is still in the Maingate complex parking lot.

The address for the Maingate complex is 3010 Maingate Lane, Kissimmee, Florida 34747, near Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It is open every day of the week from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Testing is free for anyone over the age of two regardless of symptoms. Results are available within three to five days.

  1. Do you need to pre-reg still? The doineedacovid19test.com site doesn’t pull up this location when you put in the zip code???

  2. So I am hearing mixed info. Here it says general public and WDW cast member said cast members and family only. I need to know for February trip since I need a test to fly back to NY

      • We are coming next week to WDW and have to get tested before we fly home to Pa. We will be doing Disney’s Transportation throughout our stay. Are we able to take their bus from our resort to Animal Kingdom and walk over to testing area then walk into the park or is this location too far from the bus drop off location? Just not sure if we need to UBER instead. Also is wait long for testing and is the test a nasal swab?
        Thanks is advance.
