Hello from a relatively quiet day here at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Even in the midst of the holiday week, it was only marginally more crowded than normal here. With lovely park-going weather, and armed with our Boarding Group for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, we found some fun new things at this park. Let’s get started!
The first thing we noticed when we stopped in the shops along Hollywood Boulevard this morning was a big red sign by the door announcing a sale, and who doesn’t love a good deal? Guests were instructed to find the Mickey Snowflake throughout the store for Special Offers.
At Once Upon A Time we found a deal on Graphic Fleece Sweatshirts, which would be $45 each when you bought two (regularly $52.99 each).
We also found a deal on Classic Dolls, making them $20.00 each, regularly $26.99.
It was a good day for new merchandise today as we found a new animatronic “The Child”. This version not only comes with a necklace but it also comes with it’s own 3-in-1 carrier. We found this doll in Mickeys of Hollywood for $79.99.
We found two new additions to the beanie hat line, one featuring scales and the word “Mermaid” embroidered on the brim, and the other a plain grey with the Walt Disney World logo embroidered in rainbow colors on the brim. We found them in the 5&10 for $21.99 each.
Disney dogs and cats have gotten a lot of attention recently, but it looks like it’s not over yet! We found a loungewear line perfect for fans of the pets of Disney. This plush fleece zip up jacket features Marie from Aristocats and is available at Legends of Hollywood for $69.99.
There was also a coordinating plush mini backpack for $39.99.
Dog lovers weren’t left out with this plush fleece hoodie featuring a puppy from 101 Dalmatians. It retails for $54.99.
We also found these coordinating plush fleece joggers featuring a black Mickey head on the pocket for $49.99.
If pets aren’t your style, you might like this classic Mickey icons zip up plush fleece jacket. It retails for $69.99.
While at Legends of Hollywood we spotted a new Captain America handbag by Danielle Nicole. It would go very nicely with the new Captain America dress by Dress Shop! The handbag retails for $74.00.
With the new year just around the corner, we are starting to find 2021 merchandise pop up in the parks. We found the first two items today, these two Christmas ornaments. The Mickey glass ball retails for $26.99 and the building blocks figure ornament retails for $24.99.
Definitely the most exciting part of the day was watching Woody’s Lunch Box reopen for the first time since they closed with the park back in March. We love seeing locations like this come back to life!
Of course, we had to get Totchos. They were just as delicious as we remember!
We had a wonderful time at Disney’s Hollywood Studios today, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
