Disney’s Art of Animation Resort has reopened with new health and safety measures after being closed for over seven months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Animation Hall
There are plenty of social distancing markers leading into the resort.
Inside, frequent signs remind guests to remain socially distanced and follow guidelines.
Check-in kiosks have Plexiglass barriers between guests and Cast Members.
There are social distancing markers for check-in and the nearby Ink & Paint Shop.
Guests are encouraged to use mobile order for Landscape of Flavors.
A sign indicates the separate queues for Ink & Paint Shop and Landscape of Flavors, which have the same entrance.
Ink & Paint Shop
Inside Ink & Paint Shop, there are social distancing markers leading to the register.
Both sides of Ink & Paint Shop are still available.
There is a designated set of exit doors, which a sign at the entrance points to.
Landscape of Flavors
Inside the Landscape of Flavors quick-service restaurant, certain tables and bench seats are marked unavailable to create social distancing.
There are of course social distancing markers for pick-up.
Wheeled walls block off the counter-service sections. Guests must mobile order (barring guests with food allergies who may have to order in person) and then can pick-up their tray of food when it’s ready.
Self-serve stations are now empty.
Landscape of Flavors is open 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM for breakfast and 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM for lunch and dinner.
Outside, The Lion King section is still as beautiful as ever with scenes from the film.

I’m staying here! Arrived yesterday on opening day and we are having a blast! One of my favorite resorts!
