The Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays may not start until November 27, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to get into the holiday spirit! In fact, Figment at Journey Into Imagination is already preparing for Christmas by donning an Imagination Pavilion-themed Christmas sweater.

We saw quite a line of people for the attraction given all the hype over the unannounced “overlay”. Journey Into Imagination with Figment had a 30-minute wait when we stopped by this afternoon.

There are two Figment animatronics wearing Christmas sweaters on the Journey Into Imagination with Figment ride. The first can be found in the sound lab.

The sweater features the Imagination Pavilion logo in the center and the pavilion’s iconic glass pyramids at the bottom.

The second Figment animatronic can be seen by the entrance to the touch and taste labs, just before he leads you on a tour of his house.

In addition to the Imagination Pavilion icons, the sweater is covered in small stars and snowflakes.

We hope to see more holiday touches like this on Walt Disney World attractions, especially ones like Journey Into Imagination, which are often overlooked or in need of maintenance. Living with the Land, also in EPCOT, recently completed set-up of their holiday overlay.
