PHOTOS: Rivers of America Almost Completely Drained For Refurbishment at the Magic Kingdom

Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat are closed for refurbishment through the end of February. In preparation for the refurbishment, the Rivers of America has slowly been drained, and is now almost completely empty.

There are some large puddles of water remaining, which ducks are happily still floating in.

The Liberty Square Riverboat track is now completely exposed.

Tom Sawyer Island and Liberty Square Riverboat closed in early October for the planned three-month refurbishment. The refurbishment was later extended to five months.
