PHOTOS, VIDEO: Gingerbread Capital City Moves to World ShowPlace (with 13 Hidden Mickeys!) for the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays 2020

Though Walt Disney World resort hotel gingerbread displays have all been canceled this year, the Gingerbread Capital City is back at EPCOT for Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays 2020.

This patriotic display pays sweet homage to some of the nation’s most iconic landmarks, including the United States Capitol Building, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, and a 5-foot tall Washington Monument!

This detailed creation includes Christmas decorations, including lights and wreaths.

It is made of 165 pounds of gingerbread, 25 pounds of chocolate rock, and more! There are 13 “hidden” Mickeys.

It’s not exactly true-to-life. You might spot a familiar mouse on top of the Capitol Building.

And pictures show people with their masks below their noses or pulled down completely. That’s disheartening.
