The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen at CityWalk is known for their over-the-top milkshakes. There’s a new That’s “Mint” Milkshake on the menu and we decided we would give it a try. We had actually gone over to try the new Gingerbread Milkshake, but we were told that they wouldn’t be available until closer to 5 PM. Since we had our hearts set on a shake, we opted for the new That’s “Mint” Milkshake instead.
Minty chocolate chip ice cream serves as the base for this treat and is then topped by fresh whipped cream, Andes mints, and a mint chocolate ice cream sandwich.
The mint chocolate flavor is light and fresh, without being overpowering. It’s smooth and easy to sip, especially after a few minutes in the Florida sun. The cookie sandwich on top has an Oreo crust and is filled with mint chocolate chip ice cream. This was delicious and our favorite part of the shake and reminded us of Thin Mints.
The milkshake comes in a plastic souvenir cup with a hard coating of chocolate around the top. It’s not really easy to eat and it’s a pain to try to remove, but it makes the shake visually appealing.
If you’re a fan of mint chocolate chip ice cream, this is the perfect shake for you. The shakes from the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen usually look better than they taste, honestly. They are very good, but we still think the shakes from Cowfish are better. Let us know in the comments if you’ll be trying this new milkshake on your next visit to the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium.
