The Grilled Lamb Kefta Kebab is delicious. The red sauce on top is very spicy, which we didn’t expect. If you don’t like spice, we recommend that you skip this dish. The Cucumber and Harissa-Cilantro dressing under the kebab tastes nice and cool, which we thought helped balance the spice from the sauce on top.

We enjoyed that the pita was very fresh, which really added to the overall quality of the dish. For $9.00 it’s a little pricey, but we do think it’s a quality dish that is worth the buy if you like the combination of ingredients.

Confit of Chermoula Chicken Drum with Cinnamon Granny Smith Apple, Toasted Almonds, Brussels Sprouts and Pinot Noir Glaze – $9.00

Served with cinnamon Granny Smith apples, toasted almonds, Brussels sprouts and a pinot noir glaze, this confit chicken isn’t overly interesting by itself, but the apple and glaze makeup quite a nice flavor combination and, with how it’s plated, this is a great dish for two.

Sfenj: Warm Beignets, Cream with Cinnamon Sugar, and Chocolate Sauce – $6.00

Sfenj: Warm Beignets, Cream with Cinnamon Sugar, and Chocolate Sauce – $6.00

With warm beignets with cream, cinnamon sugar, and chocolate sauce, this dessert meets buttery expectations, but the portions are a bit small when you take a look at the other baked offerings available in the France pavilion.

This drink has returned for three years in a row. Made with sparkling wine, orange liqueur, and cranberry juice topped with orange blossom water, this cocktail lived up to its name. The flowery taste comes through nicely, but it got to be overly sweet after just a few sips.
