Tropical Storm Eta Forecast to Make Landfall in Florida This Weekend

Believe it or not, we’re still in the midst of Hurricane Season here in Florida, and yet another Tropical Storm is announced to hit South and Central Florida in the coming days. Tropical Storm ETA is currently hovering over parts of Central America, however it is expected to make its way across Cuba and over to Florida, making landfall by the weekend.

The National Hurricane Center warns that Eta is forecast to regain tropical storm strength before it approaches southern Florida. While it’s still too soon to determine the exact timing, magnitude, and location of impact for the storm, it’s advised that southern Florida and the Florida Keys monitor the progress of Eta through the week.

Walt Disney World’s Hurricane Policy states that a Hurricane Watch or Warning must be issued for cancellation or change fees to be waived.
