- The Loews Portofino Bay Hotel will be reopening on December 1 and Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites will have its grand opening on December 15
- Universal announced several new holiday offerings, including a Macy’s balloons walkthrough
Universal Studios Florida
- Diagon Alley started putting up Christmas decorations
- The Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store has been transformed into a Christmas Tribute Store
- We reviewed the new beef picadillo arepa rellena available at Production Central’s holiday food truck
- Speaking of, Production Central, as well as the New York and Hollywood areas of the park, got some Christmas decorations
Universal’s Islands of Adventure
- Details have been added to the Jurassic World VelociCoaster, including some plants and trees
- We then caught Jurassic World VelociCoaster ride vehicles being tested at full-speed

New Merchandise
- The latest retro Universal Studios Florida marquee face mask is for Back to the Future
- A new chocolate frog mask at Universal Orlando Resort is inspired by the candy’s unique packaging
- Several new Christmas-themed face masks arrived in Orlando this week
- A line of neon Universal Studios Japan merchandise is now available
- Travel from “London to Hogwarts” with a new collection of Harry Potter gear at Universal Orlando Resort
- A second mask was added to the “London to Hogwarts” collection a few days later
- Universal Studios Japan has ski coats themed for Jurassic World, Minions, and Peanuts
- You can buy Harry Potter face masks featuring the Hogwarts crest at Universal Resort Orlando
