Google Introduces New Augmented Reality Baby Yoda Feature

You can now welcome Baby Yoda (a.k.a. “The Child” a.k.a. Grogu) into your home this holiday season with a new augmented reality feature from Google.

To see Grogu in your home, use the Google app for Apple iOS or Android. Search “Grogu” or “The Child” or “Baby Yoda” and you’ll see an option to “See the Child in your space.”

After you tap “View in 3D” you’ll get this great look at the Child. Then simply tap “View in your space” (and make sure you give Google permission to use your camera) and you’ll be able to see Grogu around your room.

You can then take photos of Grogu through the app!

Hopefully this will tide fans over after the whirlwind season finale of The Mandalorian this week, in which “The Book of Boba Fett” was also announced.

Will you be trying out this Google AR feature? Let us know in the comments.
