Expedition Everest is currently down at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. My Disney Experience is even notifying guests that the attraction is unavailable.

The message in the app states the following:

On behalf of the entire team at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, I’d like to apologize that Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain is currently unavailable. Our Cast Members are working diligently to get the attraction up and running again, and we are sorry you are not able to experience this attraction at this time. I hope you will enjoy some of our other attractions during your experience in the park today.

It is signed by Djuan Rivers, the Vice President of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

It’s rare that My Disney Experience would have a notification for a ride being down. Usually, it is simply listed as “Temporarily Unavailable” in the list of attractions.
