PHOTO REPORT: Magic Kingdom 11/30/20 (New Sorcerer Mickey Ears, Cinderella Castle Holiday Projections Merchandise, Cinderella Carriage To Stay Through New Year, Hot Cocoa, and More)

Hello from a beautiful day here at the Magic Kingdom! It started out a bit gloomy and rainy, but it turned into a really lovely day, if not a bit blustery. We were happy to soak up all the lovely weather we could while at the Most Magical Place On Earth, especially ahead of the forecasted drop in temperatures this week. We found some fun new things at the park today, so let’s get started!

We started off our day with a bang by finding these adorable new Sorcerer Mickey ears! We love the plush quality of them, and the little hat is just perfect. For more photos and information, check out our full article here.

While in The Emporium we found a new version of Monopoly featuring “The Mandalorian” perfect for game night with fans of the show.

The whole game is themed, even down to the playing pieces. It retails for $49.99.

We also found the perfect sweatshirt to keep you warm over the next few days featuring classic movie poster “Star Wars” art. This piece is also available at The Emporium for $52.99.

We found something for Princess fans too—these light-up bows with attached colorful hair falls are perfect for the young or young at heart. With three Princesses represented, Cinderella, Ariel, and Belle, each with their own color scheme and center icon, we think this is the perfect hair accessory, especially for nighttime at the parks. These bows retail for $16.99 each.

If bows aren’t your style, we also found this news boy style cap featuring stylish red-on-red polka dots and a chain and leather front accent.

There’s even a signature from Minnie Mouse herself on the side. This hat can be found at The Emporium for $24.99.

Further afield in the park at Memento Mori, we found this Women’s shirt featuring the singing busts from Haunted Mansion and the phrase “Bust A Move”. This shirt retails for $39.99.

Speaking of moving, we also found this new “The Mandalorian”-themed magnet featuring The Child in the MaDe kiosk in Tomorrowland Light & Power Co for $14.99.

While perusing the Made kiosk, we also noticed that cases for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro hav arrived, although only the Specialty cases are available at the moment. More options should become available over the next few days.

We found the holiday tote, which has had a “Limited Time Bonus” since it was released with the rest of the holiday merchandise, has gone down in price. Originally $19.99 with a purchase, this holiday tote is now $15.00 with any merchandise purchase.

A festive collection of Annual Passholder exclusive merchandise released today in the Magic Kingdom, featuring images of Cinderella Castle lit up in the new holiday projections. Phone cases, MagicBands, t-shirts, and more are available at four locations throughout the park.

We also spotted this MaDe exclusive Annual Passholder Cinderella Castle Projections phone case. This case will not be available ready-made, but will be exclusive to the Tomorrowland Light & Power Co MaDe kiosk location.

While walking the park today we saw Mickey and Minnie greeting guests from the Crystal Palace porch, an unusual spot for them. Still, we enjoyed the up close and personal look at these iconic characters.

While originally believed to have been brought out for the Thanksgiving holiday week, it has now been confirmed that Cinderella Carriage is here to stay until the New Year. This fun photo opportunity behind Cinderella Castle will be available for guests through the end of the year instead of just around the holidays, which we are very excited about!

In addition to all the new holiday treats available around the Magic Kingdom, hot cocoa is now being served at Sunshine Tree Terrace, no doubt in preparation for the cold days we’ll be having this week. We can’t wait to sip on hot chocolate and watch the beautiful projections on Cinderella Castle!

We checked in on two construction projects before heading out for the day. The first project we stopped to watch for a while was the track replacement in the drained Rivers of America. While we were there they placed this large piece of new track and shifted it in to place, then began welding it together.

Over at the construction site for TRON Lightcycle Run, even more lit canopy pieces are being assembled, and will no doubt be mounted soon.

Progress has been made on Cinderella Fountain, though not in the way were expecting. The base of the fountain has been repainted, with a new color being applied for the underwater portion of the base. This new, much lighter blue matches the blue portions of the fresco behind the Cinderella statue.

We had a wonderful day at the Magic Kingdom, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
