It’s a chilly, sunny day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. We arrived bright and early and were surprised by the crowds making their way into the park on a Tuesday morning.

After making our way through the long lines for security, we headed to Islands of Adventure first. There were very short lines to get into the park, thankfully.

We made our way to Hogsmeade first to warm up with a Hot Butterbeer but discovered the walls have been taken down at the entrance of Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. The walls around the new lockers recently came down in Jurassic Park, but the construction walls remained near the attraction. Although the walls were down, the new lockers were not open today.

The viewing area behind Me Ship, The Olive in Toon Lagoon was closed off for filming. There were “Hot Set” barricades and signage placed around the area.

The park felt busy for a Tuesday, especially when we passed through Seuss Landing. Everyone wants Green Eggs and Ham today.

The Croissant Moon had red velvet bunt cakes that looked absolutely perfect.

We made our way over to Universal Studios Florida next. The crowds weren’t too bad this afternoon.

This themed sign looks so real, we were surprised it wasn’t actually taped to the window. The sign reminds guests that must go through the main doors for food and that Moe’s Tavern is for drinks only. Hopefully people read this and save the Team Members the trouble of having to redirect guests.
