The Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts begins January 8. Artist tents are already set up. Now we can see what art will be in those tents. Several artists have previewed what they will be showing and selling during the festival.
Jerrod Maruyama
Maruyama is bringing four pieces to the festival, including one featuring The Child (AKA “Baby Yoda,” Grogu). He tweeted a preview.
The Child piece was originally for Star Wars Celebration, which was cancelled in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Maruyama also previewed the three other pieces on Instagram, including a tribute to Mickey’s Philharmagic.
Maruyama will also debut “Experiment of Cute” (left) and “A Side of Cute” at the WonderGround Gallery tent.
Sam Carter
Sam Carter took to Twitter to celebrate shipping his embellished originals to Florida. Carter also announced that he will be at EPCOT January 16 – 26.
Carter’s pieces include the Big Al from Country Bear Jamboree, Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room, The Muses from Hercules, and John from Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress.
Morgan Ditta
Artist Morgan Ditta has previewed a few pieces on Instagram, including artwork featuring Rapunzel, Tiana, and Figment.
