UPDATE: While Gideon’s Bakery employees did indicate that the location would be opening for the first time tomorrow, a recent post from Gideon’s on Instagram clarifies that tomorrow will be the soft opening, with new “beautifully branded new Gideon’s boxes and cups” arriving for the grand opening in the New Year.

A couple of days ago, a gargoyle arrived at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs, and the bakery teased their upcoming opening. Now, we know when the doors to this rustic, themed cookie locale will be opening at Disney Springs!

The sign hanging from the building’s corner advertises cookies, cakes, and curiosities. Last month, we got a sneak peek at some of their Christmas cookies.

The building is themed like an old bookstore, named Lindwurm Bookseller.

According to staff members, Gideon’s Bakehouse will open tomorrow, December 23, at 10:00 AM, closing at 7:00 PM. As a reminder, cookies at most Gideon’s locations are sold on a first-come first-serve basis, and we have a feeling their cookies will go quick at Disney Springs!
