Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at Universal Studios Florida was closed for the second day in a row today.

According to Team Members, the ride was forced to remain closed due to windy weather the night before last. Today, with Central Florida reaching temperatures below 50 degrees, the ride remained closed for the morning.

Some of the cars sitting on the track were covered with tarps to keep them protected.

Technicians were testing some vehicles.

A technician sent this car down from the hill and it moved slowly along the track.

Several Team Members were standing at the entrance. While the ride didn’t open this morning, Team Members expect it to reopen later today.

As of 2:00 PM on December 26, it has not reopened.
