The water taxis at Universal Orlando Resort that transport resort hotel guests to and from CityWalk now have Plexiglass dividers between each row of seats.
The water taxi dock is opposite Hard Rock Cafe at CityWalk.
Previously, Team Members had guests sit in every other row of the boats.
Now thanks to the Plexiglass dividers, they can safely board more guests on one boat.
The bench seats that face other seats are currently unavailable.
There are also Plexiglass dividers on the sides of the seats, to help protect guests from others sitting across the aisle.
Similar dividers have been added to various boats at Walt Disney World Resort too. How do you feel about plastic dividers being added to boats and ride vehicles at theme parks? Let us know in the comments.
I’m fine with the plexi glass being on boat rides if it is for our safety that’s what matters most.
