While the past few months have brought the loss of many talented entertainers around Walt Disney World Resort hotels, the return of one performer is music to our ears.

The pianist has returned to the lobby of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort for the first time since its reopening back in June. You can hear him play in an alcove just off of the main atrium, home to the resort’s massive Christmas tree.

Of course, in an attempt to keep safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, he’s wearing an elegantly-patterned face mask to compliment his tuxedo.

Sadly, he currently stands as the only musical entertainment at the resort following the firing of The Grand Floridian Society Orchestra back in October. You can currently see members of the ensemble performing as the Jolly Creek Society Orchestra at the Jolly Creek Holiday Festival in Kissimmee. After a year that has seen so many great people leave, it’s nice to see a piece of the magic and class that Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is known for return.
