REVIEW: Santa’s Crepe and Cherries Jubilee Bubble Waffle at AristoCrepes in Disney Springs

We’re making our way around Disney Springs to try all the new Christmas and holiday treats of the season. We’ve tried the holiday peppermint boba tea at YeSake Kiosk, and now we’re getting some desserts at AristoCrepes.

Santa’s Crepe – $6.99

We hope you aren’t shy about food coloring, because this crepe is practically 99% red food coloring. However, we can’t say it isn’t festive.

Filled with egg nog custard and praline pieces, this red “Santa suit”-themed crepe is topped with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and holiday sprinkles.

Once you get past its looks, the Santa Crepe is somewhat basic, with a mellow egg nog flavor present in the custard. It’s more creamy than nog-y, with no real flavor coming from the crepe or toppings. Overall, it’s just okay and more of an “Instagrammable” treat than a tasty one.

Cherries Jubilee Bubble Waffle – $8.99

If you don’t mind eating ice cream during the next Florida cold front, you’ll want to try out this Bubble Waffle sundae.

The Bubble Waffle is filled with vanilla ice cream and topped with whipped cream, cherry jubilee sauce, and praline pieces.

The cherry sauce really imparts a tart twist to the sundae, giving it an interesting taste, especially when paired with the crunchy praline. However, due to the mound of ice cream on top, it does soften the waffle a bit, taking away from the crunch.
