RUMOR: Disney+ is Merging With Hulu

According to Collider, Disney is looking into merging their two streaming services, Disney+ and Hulu, into one.

Disney+ recently surpassed 73 million subscribers, while Hulu has over 36 million. Folding Hulu into Disney+ could create a platform appealing to families and adults, and potentially bring the platform to over 100 million subscribers.

It’s unknown what a combined Disney+ and Hulu would look like, but most likely parental controls would have to be imposed to separate the more adult material from Hulu.

Even though it’s a rumor, merging the two streaming services together is a bad idea. Disney+ should stay Disney+. Hulu has adds when we watch material. I don’t want to see that on Disney+.

On a positive note, this could mean Hulu would reach international waters over time
