According to runDisney’s advisory, they will be reimagining the theming of the race weekend for 2022 and will share more information later.
Participants who booked directly through runDisney.com will have the option of receiving a full refund for the race weekend. Those who registered with a U.S.A. mailing address may also convert their registration to the virtual event and may complete it from home. Eligible participants will still receive a medal for each distance they complete and the option of a race shirt.
Registered participants will receive an email with instructions on how to receive a refund or adjust their registration before December 18, 2020.
Additional registration slots for the virtual race weekend will open on Tuesday, December 15, at 10:00 AM ET.
Participants who’ve booked through a charity or tour operator should reach out directly to that organization. Athletes who’ve booked through the Walt Disney Travel Company may call them at 407-939-4786 (407-939-IRUN) for available options.
