A third film in the “Sister Act” franchise was announced for Disney+ at the Disney Investor Day 2020 event. Whoopi Goldberg is onboard to star and produce in the film. Tyler Perry is also attached as a producer.
No release date was announced, but Disney promised more info on the film in the coming months.
