Hello from a beautiful day here at Walt Disney World! We got a temporary reprieve from the impending colder weather, and got one more day of blissfully warm temperatures. With perfect park-going weather upon us, nothing could stop us from checking out two parks today. Let’s get started!
It was an exciting day at the construction site for TRON Lightcycle / Run, with workers all lined up on the illuminated canopy working today. We were able to catch six workers in lifts in one picture!
The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover was quiet today. We’ve seen the attraction testing ride vehicles since last week, but today there was no movement at all.
Workers at Bonjour! Village Gifts were very visible today, with the lift raised to almost the top of the building. This worker was applying what appeared to be a matching stain or a colorless liquid to the wall.
We found some new merchandise today, including these fun dog graphic tees. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
We found two new mugs, including this Walt Disney World logo mug in sunny yellow, which matches the Spirit Jersey seen in the background.
Earlier this week we found a line of cropped sweatshirts at The Emporium, and today we found matching joggers. With “Walt Disney World” printed down the side of one leg and featuring generous pockets, these thick and comfy jogger pants retail for $44.99 each.
We found several new open edition pins today at Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. The first two were from the movie “Up”, featuring Dug, Russell, and Kevin. They retail for $9.99 each.
The next two were “Wall-E” themed, featuring Wall-E and Eve. The “EEE-VA!” pin retails for $12.99, and the heart pin retails for $9.99.
We spotted some new nautical-themed jewelry in the case at Uptown Jewelers today. With Disney Cruise Line extending the delay of all departures until March 2021, we’ll just have to let this jewelry tide us over until we can sail away for real!
On our way out of the park, we took a quiet moment of reflection in front of Main Street USA and the American Flag, which, along with all flags on Walt Disney World property and in the state of Florida, have been lowered to half staff today in honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
Next, we headed to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to see what new things we could find there. We found another new open edition pin set featuring Wall-E and Eve at The Darkroom, retailing for $15.99.
This 3-D Jedi phone case also caught our eye, which was available for iPhone XS Max, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12, and iPhone 12 Pro for $34.99.
We found this new “Monsters University” hair band set at Mickeys of Hollywood for $14.99.
Pastel is definitely “in” with this new Mickey and Minnie clothing line! For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
A new women’s tee has swung into Once Upon A Time, and fans of “Indiana Jones” are in for a treat! For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
Notice anything unusual? You’d be “foolish” not to. We were surprised to find this “unique” door hanger today. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
We had a wonderful day at Walt Disney World, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
