Welcome to another winter day here in Florida. It’s a cold Saturday at Universal Orlando Resort and we’re bundled up and ready to check out all the latest updates.
Even though it was a Saturday, the parks did not hit capacity. The sun might have been shining, but it was still a very chilly morning, which might have been the reason for lower crowds.
The Christmas tree in New York has finally been taken down and the street feels so much wider now. With Revenge of the Mummy still closed for refurbishment, this area seems even quieter than usual.
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit was closed due to the weather again.
The water levels are still low in the lagoon, giving us a view of the fountain platform. We spotted people working on it recently, but we didn’t see anyone today.
Wait times for the attractions weren’t too bad during the morning.
Diagon Alley was busy as usual with long lines for the Leaky Cauldron and Butterbeer.
Globus Mundi was closed unfortunately, despite it being a Saturday.
Even at lunch time, the lines for food in Springfield weren’t bad at all.
Central Park Crepes is still serving the Thanksgiving Turkey Crepe but we hear a sweet new seasonal flavor is coming soon.
Speaking of menu changes, we noticed that Green Eggs and Ham has changed their menu again. They recently removed the Chicken and Funnel Cake and now the S’mores Nutella is gone. In its place you’ll find a new Philly Brisket Tots. Stay tuned for our full review!
The plexiglass dividers are still gone from Green Eggs and Ham.
We discovered a new tie dye face mask inside the Islands of Adventure Trading Company. They’re available in medium and large for $8 each or 3 for $20.
The parks started to get busier throughout the afternoon, but crowds were still manageable, even in Hogsmeade.
It looks like this family decided to brave the water rides despite the cold weather.
A temporary fix for the tear in Doc Ock’s hand.
That’s all for this trip around the Universal Orlando Resort. Thanks for joining us today. Be sure to keep following WDWNT and Universal Parks News Today for all the latest updates!
