While every attraction reopened with social distancing guidelines last summer, many have been adding additional dividers as the months go on, including Peter Pan’s Flight and Pirates of the Caribbean.

These new dividers at The Haunted Mansion are in the first section of queue before reaching the themed graveyard.

During our visit, there wasn’t a long enough queue to encircle the dividers, but they will be useful when the attraction is busier.

As usual, the dividers begin at approximately hip level and extend up almost to the ceiling. A section of Plexiglass at the top lets guests look around more instead of being surrounded by imposing walls.

  1. While I think it’s commendable that Disney is taking such steps to ensure the safety of their guests, these dividers will make these queues extremely HOT in the late spring to summer months. Especially in the middle lane where plexiglass is on either side of you. Hopefully they may be able to take them down by mid-summer…though I don’t think they would be putting them up now if this was the plan.

    • Ah, yes, that breeze that will carry someone else’s cough to you.

If you’re expecting to be cool and comfortable in central Florida in the summer, I’m guessing you’ve never been there during the summer.

  2. Why not put the plexiglass up between the regular line and the fastpass line…. Bring Back Fastpass!!!!! Those who say they are using that line for social distancing are wrong… Bring it Back!!!
