The new Walt Disney World Swan Reserve hotel is still under construction near its sister resorts the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin. The hotel is scheduled to open in July 2021.
As we saw last month, most of the Swan Reserve’s exterior is complete, with wave paneling and windows.
The top floor is still incomplete, and that’s where the crane was positioned.
The building’s supports are still exposed and construction materials are visible on the top floor.
We can also see through some of the windows to room materials stacked inside. Last month, Walt Disney World gave us a look at concept art for the room interiors.
Railings need to be added to the balconies running down this corner of the building.
At the bottom, an entrance is taking shape but there’s still plenty of work to be done before the hotel can welcome guests.
The porte cochere is in place but not quite complete.
Are you excited to stay at the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve? Let us know in the comments!
Does anyone else think this looks like a modern day hospital??? Geez, Disney resort theming has really died, but then again, most creativity at Disney has died under Iger.
Staying at the Swan in late July. Would love to change my reservation to the Swan Reserve if they’re open by then.
