Though construction at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is most obvious on the Monorail station and Great Ceremonial House, we’ve been getting glimpses at the future Moana rooms. Last month, we got a look inside the gutted rooms being re-themed to Moana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Today, Cast Members were transporting furnishings to the rooms.

We saw Cast Members pushing a pallet of mattresses into the construction zone.

We then could see them unloading the new mattresses.

More furnishings were staged on scaffolding outside the building.

There appeared to be small benches wrapped in plastic.

The base of the benches is light wood, while the cushion is dark green, giving us an idea of the color scheme for the rooms.

There were boxes sitting next to the benches, and more boxes further down the scaffolding.

We later saw Cast Members transporting even more mattresses.

The mattresses were staged next to the scaffolding to be moved inside.

  1. I’m so excited for Moana theme rooms. And I can’t wait to stay in the Polynesian Village next year.
