The exterior of the upcoming Disney Springs M&M’s Store is getting a bit brighter. Construction crews have begun to cover primered walls with bright, shiny yellow panels. Most of the work is taking place near the store’s main entrance doors.
Most of the store’s front facade looks much like it has for just over a month. The metal framing will support the yellow panels. It will also hide a lighting system.
This concept art shows the final appearance of the m&m’s Store.
One yellow finish panel has been installed on the front entrance overhang.
Work lights and framing are visible inside the store. Permanent recessed lights are installed along the ceiling line at left.
Yellow panel installation is well underway on the building’s side facade. This photo shows how the panels attach to the metal frame.
The Disney Springs m&m’s Store is scheduled to open in 2021. Its original target opening was Thanksgiving 2020.
