For every food festival, each Joffrey’s stand inside EPCOT always goes out of their way to create a special beverage and doughnut pairing. This year, all of the food and beverage pairings are “art-inspired,” so let’s take a tour around the park and sample all of the creations!

*NEW* Creative Twist Latte: Latte with Brown Butter Toffee Syrup and Swiss Chocolate Syrup topped with TWIX^® Bar Pieces and paired with a doughnut (Canada) – $9.99

This “Creative Twist” latte is very sweet, but unremarkable. It just tastes like a sweetened Joffrey’s coffee.

The donut is quite good. It’s soft and doughy. The rich chocolate and caramel topping adds enough sweetness.

*NEW* Caramel Canvas Latte: Artisan Latte with Peanut Butter Syrup, Caramel, and Dark Chocolate Sauce topped with SNICKERS^® Original Candy Pieces paired with a doughnut (Showcase Plaza) – $9.99

This is more dynamic than the Starry Night pairing. Peanut butter syrup with caramel and dark chocolate sauce serve to accentuate each other, which is why these flavors are paired so much. The combination is also true to the Snickers, which adorns the whipped cream. None of the individual flavors overpower the others, making for a well-balanced and not overly sweet drink.

The donut itself was large, soft, and moist — an excellent base for any specialty donut. A thick layer of caramel glaze circles the donut, with a chocolate drizzle and pieces of Snickers rounding out the top. Unlike the Starry Night donut, the caramel on this one is thicker and much more discernible. However, it’s not overly salty, adding a nice taste without taking over the entire profile. The chocolate and Snickers don’t add much, but do accentuate the mild caramel well.

*NEW* Starry Night Latte: Espresso beverage with Dulce de Leche, White Chocolate, and Dark Chocolate Sauce topped with MILKY WAY^® Bar Pieces paired with a doughnut (Future World East) – $9.99

The latte is available hot or iced. We opted for the iced variant and were left underwhelmed. While the inclusion Milky Way pieces might imply a bit more flavor variety, this simply tasted like a mocha latte with a few pieces of candy for presentation. The inclusion of dulce de leches, white chocolate, and dark chocolate results in a pretty generic chocolate flavor.

The paired Starry Night donut similarly includes Milky Way pieces topping a layer of caramel and dark chocolate drizzle. The donut base itself was soft and moist, but much like the latte, something has gone awry with the flavors. The caramel is only slightly discernible, tasting watered down and barely like caramel. The pieces of Milky Way add a fun touch, but each bite left us fairly confused as to what taste Joffrey’s was going for.

*NEW* Color-Me-Latte: Espresso, Swiss Chocolate Syrup, and Dark Chocolate Sauce sprinkled with M&M’s^® Candies paired with a doughnut (The American Adventure) – $9.99

This is a heavy on dark chocolate and espresso. It’s rich but not overly sweet. You can’t slurp up the M&Ms easily, so it’s best to grab a spoon.

This is vanilla-frosted with small M&Ms. It’s a soft and squishy cake donut. It’s simple but exactly as advertised.
