REVIEW: Limited Time 50’s and 60’s MARVEL “WandaVision” Petite TV Cake at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs

Have you watched the first episodes of “WandaVision” on Disney+ today? Don’t worry, there are no spoilers here. But we will spoil these new petite cakes inspired by the show now available at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs.

Right now, guests can get two of these cute TV-shaped cakes, one inspired by the 50s and one inspired by the 60s. Each episode of “WandaVision” takes place in a different decade, and Amorette’s will be releasing new decade designs as the series goes on.

Each cake has a black-and-white image of Wanda and Vision. The cake itself is shaped and styled like a vintage TV, complete with an antenna on top.

Though the 50’s and 60’s cakes have different images, they have the same ingredients. These chocolate and vanilla chiffon cakes have white chocolate and dark chocolate mousse, with cookie crumbs and chocolate pieces.

The cake was iced very thinly in buttercream to carry the fondant, which was also pretty thin.

Neither the icing nor the fondant distracted from the flavors inside, but it could have turned out better aesthetically.

The filling of the yellow cake is similar to Boston cream donuts. The chocolate filling was similar to pudding. Each cake was extremely fresh, soft, and moist but not wet.

The fillings were delicious! They were creamy and smooth. The chocolate portion had chocolate flake layered with it.

The whole combination of flavors was amazing and we would definitely get this again. Sadly, it is a one-week-only offering!

Of course, the presentation was also awesome, except for some fondant smudges and breakage here and there. The antennae were also too tall for a standard Amorette’s box and kept breaking off while they tried to box it up for us.

These are only available while supplies last each day. Amorette’s Patisserie opens at 11:00 AM, so you might want to grab one of these cakes for a late breakfast to guarantee you get one.
