The Happy Fair with Baymax Event Postponed Again at Tokyo Disneyland

As announced this weekend, Tokyo Disney Resort has suspended ticket sales and are restricting park capacity to 5,000 guests as Tokyo enters a State of Emergency. With these restrictions, The Happy Fair with Baymax event has also been postponed.

The event, which will feature a character meet-and-greet, decorations, and more, was previously set to begin this Wednesday, January 13, and last through March 8, 2021. Before those dates were set, it was originally supposed to happen during summer 2020, but COVID-19 has continually delayed it. There is no new date set for the event and it’s possible it will not happen until the summer of 2021.

Tokyo alone has reported new case numbers in the low-mid 2000s for two straight days now, according to NHK. There are no plans to close Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea at present.
