UPDATE: Ollivanders Wand Experience Back to One Party Per Room, Up to Eight People at Universal Orlando Resort

The wand experience in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Orlando Resort has switched from briefly allowing two parties per room to only allowing one.

Previously, Ollivanders was allowing only one party per room and up to ten people. Guests could also pick who in their party was chosen for the experience.

The other day, we were put in a room with a second party. Team Members told us the attraction was now putting up to two parties in one room, with each room still at a capacity of ten. Guests could also no longer decide who would be chosen.

However, the policy has changed once again. Ollivanders is now back to only allowing one party in a room and has actually lowered the room capacity to eight people. We spoke to Team Members at the attraction who said this fresh change is because the theme parks are now entering their slow season. Guests still cannot pick which member of their party will be chosen for the experience.

The wand experience was still as busy as ever today, with the Diagon Alley attraction’s line wrapping around the corner into Carkitt Market.
