PHOTO REPORT: EPCOT 2/11/21 (West Side “Leave A Legacy” Panels Installed, Fez House Fountain Drained, More Flower & Garden Installations Arrive, and More)

Hello from another perfect park day at EPCOT! It was a quiet day before the holiday weekend, but we’re glad we came to check out the park and take a look at all the construction projects here. Let’s get started!

Additional “Leave A Legacy” panels were installed overnight, this time on the right side as you’re looking at the park. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

Demolition continues on what remains of the Innoventions West building, with more roof removal overnight. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

Additional glass and metal framing has gone in at the future location of Mouse Gear in the Innoventions East building. Workers can be seen here daily making progress on this part of the building.

On the other side of the building, wood was being installed in this space where we saw framing going in yesterday.

Further up the way in the same building, workers were in a man lift working in the ceiling in the recently installed metal framing.

We checked in on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, but we couldn’t see any progress there. There hasn’t been any visible change there since the blue weather barrier was installed on the roof and the wood was installed on the facade.

Pavement work has been a common sight all across Walt Disney World recently, and today we found a new spot that’s being worked on. This patch of new concrete is just outside the side door of Port of Entry in World Showcase. Judging by the cut pavement next the new patch, we expect it will be next to have new pavement laid.

We found the fountain drained in the Fez House at the Morocco Pavilion. No information is known as to when it will be operational again.

We found filming about to take place in the Italy Pavilion. We noticed black fence pieces on wheels were being used as crown barriers, which bore a striking resemblance to the crowd barrier created for the socially distanced character meet and greet area in the United Kingdom Pavilion.

The garden has been installed on the raised stage in the Italy Pavilion ahead of the Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival coming up next month.

The pictorial flower bed has also been completely installed ahead of the festival as well. For more pictures and information on both, check out our article here.

The large ring for the new Harmonious nighttime show has had new silver framing added to the exterior. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

We had a great day at EPCOT, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
