Welcome to a rainy day at the Universal Orlando Resort. It’s been a busy week, but we’re ready to navigate the crowds and hoping that the rain will make things a little slower around the park. Our first stop of the day was to Islands of Adventure to see what’s new.

Hogsmeade was very quiet this morning, most likely due to the weather. We’re used to the Florida rain so we don’t mind at all.

The on-ride photos have returned to Jurassic Park River Adventure. Let’s hope a dinosaur doesn’t try to eat the camera again.

The highlight of our day was discovering a brand new UOAP Jurassic World VelociCoaster shirt. What could go wrong? Take a closer look at the shirt and get more details here.

Once we had our new VelociCoaster shirt, we made our way over to Universal Studios Florida. It was a little busier than Islands of Adventure, but nothing like the last few days.

Diagon Alley was packed though! It’s always busy, but we were still surprised to find this many people hanging around the Wizarding World.

A few of the Mardi Gras floats were missing around the park. This was due to the inclement weather, but there were still Team Members throwing beads nearby.

The pirate themed floats were still out in the rain, though.

We noticed that the Mardi Gras shirts have gone from a nice tie-dye purple to solid purple. You can still find a few of the older shirts mixed in, but make sure you grab one while you can if you have your heart set on a tie-dye one!

That’s all for this visit to the Universal Orlando Resort. Thanks for joining us on this rainy day, and be sure to stay tuned for all the latest updates!
