Cast Members at The Mara restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge are wearing brand new costumes, including aprons that have taken a walk on the wild side.
The new aprons are bright orange and yellow with motifs of lions and other animals often found on the African Savanna. The lions do bear quite a resemblance to our favorite wild cats- Simba, Nala, and Mufasa from The Lion King. They specifically resemble the costumes in The Lion King musical actually, since the resort has an item from the show on display. An array of paw (and hoof) prints fills in the space around the animals.
These aprons are a part of new collection of Quick Service Restaurant costume updates. You may notice that the shirts underneath these aprons are the same in every location, just different colors.
