With an opening date scheduled merely six months from now, construction on the new Walt Disney World Swan Reserve hotel continues along schedule.
Since our last update on the construction progress, the top floor of the hotel has received some more work.
This top floor will be used for Vue, an exclusive rooftop space described as “perfect for weddings and social galas.” The space will boast breathtaking views of the Walt Disney World Resort, thanks to its floor-to-ceiling windows.
Some windows are already installed, but there are still more to be added.
Balconies on the corner still await the addition of railings as they become a focal point of the building.
Construction equipment remains in the front of the hotel as work continues.
Scaffolding is seen as construction takes place in the hotel’s porte-cochère.
In addition to the rooftop space, several windows still need to be installed to guest rooms and the building itself.
The new windows are currently stored onsite.
Painting of the hotel also continues as the building will have white, gold, and blue hues.

Above is the concept art of the completed Walt Disney World Swan Reserve Hotel, which promises to “provide a luxurious yet tranquil oasis to attractions and theme parks at Disney” once it opens on September 1st.
