Universal Orlando Resort Launches “Universal Pay” Mobile Payment Method

With the latest update to the official Universal Orlando Resort mobile app, guests now have the option to use “Universal Pay.” This payment method will allow resort guests to make contactless purchases at the Orlando parks with just their smartphone.

To use “Universal Pay,” guests must have a debit or credit card saved in their Wallet on the Universal Orlando Resort app. When making purchases, the app will ask to confirm your debit or credit card’s security code before generating a unique QR code for Team Members to scan.

Whether you are budgeting for a family or limiting yourself, the new feature also includes a “Spending Limit” option.

This option allows you to disallow charging privileges, set a purchase limit per day, or to not set a limit for each member of your party.

“Universal Pay” is a payment method accepted at Universal-owned stores and is not valid at third-party retail locations.
