This is the story of Dolly Levi, a widowed matchmaker who is hired by a wealthy business owner named Horace Vandergelder, played by Walter Matthau, to help find him a wife. Instead, Dolly gets ideas of her own and decides he should marry her.
Wackiness ensues as she sets her plan into motion, but she brings a cast of characters into her plot, including the unsuspecting clerk Cornelius Hackl. played by Michael Crawford.
Directed by Gene Kelly and featuring a performance from the great Louis Armstrong, this is an amazing addition to the Disney movie library and Disney+.
