PHOTOS: Roof Almost Entirely Removed From Innoventions West in EPCOT As Demolition Continues

We are closely monitoring the demolition of Innoventions West to make way for the Moana – Journey of Water attraction. A few days ago, some pieces of roof still remained, but as of today, even more has been removed.

No roof remains on this part of the former Innoventions West building.

What was previously the Art of Disney store is now unrecognizable, as the entire building is being demolished. Only small parts of the roof are left on this part of the building.

The final remnants of the old building’s paneling has now been removed as well.

The final pieces of the roof are almost entirely removed, and we expect the support beams to follow.

    • These buildings sit on top of the Future World tunnel, which will be used the service the festival center when it’s built. It has to be disassembled rather than just knocked down to protect the structure below it.
