UPDATE: “Big Band Beat” Stage Show Holding Open Rehearsals at Tokyo DisneySea

Last week, listings on the Tokyo Disney Resort Vacation Package website briefly pointed to an imminent restart of entertainment at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea before being taken down. While the return of parades at Tokyo Disneyland on March 27th didn’t come to pass, it seems one part of that rumor may yet—the Broadway Music Theatre at Tokyo DisneySea, home to Big Band Beat, is holding “Open Rehearsals” today.

The listing appeared overnight on the Tokyo Disney Resort App. It’s important to note that the page doesn’t explicitly say Big Band Beat, just “[Open Rehearsal] Broadway Music Theatre”. Guests visiting Tokyo DisneySea today are required to enter the Entry Request lottery system in order to experience the show. Performances will take place at 12:25pm, 1:50pm, 3:50pm, and 5:15pm, roughly in line with Big Band Beat‘s former schedule.

On the other hand, Big Band Beat has been removed from the park’s official refurbishment calendar as well. Perhaps these “open rehearsals” will turn into an official return soon, only time will tell.

Plans have not been announced for the return of Dreaming Up!, Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade: DreamLights, Let’s Party Gras!, Song of Mirage, or My Friend Duffy as of yet. Stay tuned to WDWNT for the latest news as Tokyo Disney Resort slowly resumes its entertainment.
