Welcome to another beautiful day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. The sun is shining and we’re making our way over to Islands of Adventure first to visit Seuss Landing in honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday.

After several Dr. Seuss books have been removed from shelves, many are concerned about what changes we may see around the land. Be sure to stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Make sure to stay hydrated! This guy is looking a little dry today.

Is this the start of a new Mardi Gras bead tree in the Lost Continent?

Jurassic World VelociCoaster continues to test with multiple vehicles cycling at once. We’re sure this is a good sign that things could be opening very soon! No official opening date has been announced, but we’ll be sure to post as soon as we hear anything.

Watching VelociCoaster testing has really worked up our appetite so we decided to stop into Thunder Falls Terrace for lunch. We typically dine at the Burger Digs, but we’ve been missing out! Since we’re big fans of the jackfruit sandwich at Monsters Cafe and the jerk jackfruit from the Bahamas booth for Mardi Gras, we ordered up the Rice Bowl with Jackfruit and it did not disappoint. We’ll have a full review soon, so keep an eye out for that!

The park was very quiet this afternoon.

The cute, colorful “Taxi” in Port of Entry is missing, but we’re hopeful it will return again soon.

Stopping into the Universal Studio Store in CityWalk, more props have been added around the store. We’re loving the retro vibes around here lately!

Over at Universal Studios Florida, Mardi Gras is in full swing and the beads are flying.

The Wolfman banner has been missing over the entrance of Universal Studios’ Classic Monsters Cafe and the other two have been extremely faded. Three bright new banners have now been installed over the entrance and they’re looking amazing. It’s a huge improvement to one of our favorite themed quick service locations in the park.

We decided to grab a Praline Cookie Sandwich from the Tribute Store for a little afternoon snack.

Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes has recently added the Exploding Snap card game. The cards have some great artwork and it looks like a fun game.

A little bit more Barney merchandise has made its way over to It’s A Wrap at the exit of the park. Get it while you can!

It’s been a busy day, but that’s all for this visit to the Universal Orlando Resort. Thanks for joining us today and be sure to keep following for more updates!
