The Band Concert is remembered to this day as one of Disney’s most iconic Mickey Mouse shorts and has been represented in the parks with character greetings and even the former Silly Symphony Swings at Disney California Adventure. Now, Tokyo Disney Resort is bringing the classic look to a popcorn bucket beginning March 30th!
The popcorn bucket will be available at The Big Pop at Tokyo Disneyland, and the Lido Isle/Ponte Vecchio popcorn cart between American Waterfront and Mediterranean Harbor in Tokyo DisneySea, and features Mickey in his 1930s look complete with conductor costume, just as he appeared in the classic Disney short. He sits atop a semi-transparent drum with the words “Mickey Mouse” printed on it. The strap takes on a film strip look with music notes and Mickey silhouettes peppered throughout.
This splendid new popcorn bucket will be available starting March 30th for ¥2400, or about $22.04, while supplies last. Are you excited about this new popcorn bucket? Let us know in the comments below!
