Cinderella Castle is undergoing an “earidescent” transformation for the 50th Anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort this fall. We reported recently that the first piece of shimmering blue and gold decorative bunting was placed on Cinderella Castle, and since then, bunting has been added to the east and west side, as well as the turrets. This morning, an additional piece of bunting that looks like beautiful draped fabric was added and it can even be spotted from the front of the castle.
The new additions to the Cinderella Castle decorations sit right in the middle of the east side.
The new piece looks like it is held together by two blue gems with gold accents. The ribbons that hang down match the turret bunting seen on the right hand side.
The blue gemstones match the ones previously installed this week, but these ribbons are not stretched across as far as the others decorations.
The blue and gold decorations match the theming for the 50th anniversary.
