We reported last week that the first “earidescent” decorations were added to Cinderella Castle as preparations are underway for the 50th Anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort. Today, even more of the beautiful blue and gold decor was added to a turret towards the back of Cinderella Castle.
The sash and blue gems match the first piece of decor that was added to the side of Cinderella Castle just last week.
The sash is predominantly blue with gold accents.
The sparkling gemstone matches the original piece, and the overall architecture of the castle.
Gold ribbon detail makes up the print of the bunting.
The faux bunting is made to look as if it’s draped over Cinderella Castle. This look is achieved through the shape of the decorations and the use of contrasting gold and blue colors.
This new addition drapes over one of the turrets towards the back of the castle.
Concept art was released recently giving us a sneak peek at the final look of Cinderella Castle’s ongoing transformation. Faux bunting, similar to the piece that debuted today, will likely cover each turret as shown in the art below.
Stay tuned here at WDWNT for more updates to Cinderella Castle’s “earidescent” transformation.
