EPCOT is in the middle of an incredible transformation that includes dividing the theme park into four neighborhoods. Future World East will soon be part of the World Celebration neighborhood which includes the park’s Starbucks location, a new quick service restaurant, and a reimagined Mouse Gear store. Now that Innoventions West is officially demolished, work ramps up over at Innoventions East to make way for the new dining location and Mouse Gear.

Lots of scaffolding is in place underneath the Future World East breezeway.

Construction workers continue working on the metal framework that we spotted recently.

Over on the other side of the building, more of the new quick service dining location is taking shape.

The exterior of both the new dining location and Mouse Gear will predominately be made of glass to allow for lots of natural light.

Glass has already been installed on the far side of the building and we expect more pieces to cover the open exterior here as work progresses.

Round metal framework hangs from the ceiling that will soon act as a lighting fixture inside the restaurant.
