As we saw last month, a new Monorail platform is being installed at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, after the old Monorail station was torn down. Now thanks to photographer Jonathan Salazar (@TheDisneyPilot on Instagram), we have an aerial view of the continued construction.

Wood paneling now surrounds most of the vertical supports.

The final two supports, on the right, do have the beginnings of the initial steel structure needed before the wood is installed.

Of course, the dirt surrounding the Monorail platform is also visible. Eventually this will be cleaned up and paved back over.

Some construction is visible on the front of the Great Ceremonial House, which is also being refurbished.

We can also take a look at the new crossbeam structure that was installed last year. Half of the crossbeams have windows above the lobby.

Some of the rooms at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort have also been under construction as they are refurbished to have a Moana theme. Disney gave us a first look inside these rooms last week.
