We have been keeping a close eye on the demolition of Innoventions West at EPCOT. This demolition is to make way for the Journey of Water attraction, inspired by Moana, and will soon be a part of the World Celebration neighborhood at EPCOT.

Structural supports are being removed slowly but surely, but today’s update has made quite a dent in the demolition progress.

Lateral support beams connecting the width of the building have been removed, leaving a large open space in the middle.

Corner supports were removed last week, and we expect the remaining supports to be taken down in the coming days.

Only small parts of the former building remain as many of the vertical supports are now removed as well.
