It’s reopening day at Disneyland Resort, and of course, we had to stop at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to see how things are going in Batuu. While wandering Black Spire Outpost, we paid a visit to the Market and noticed some COVID-19 safety measures in place.

Like the resort overall, the areas have their own limited capacity. There is a Cast Member situated by an “Enter Here” sign as you approach the Market. Physical distancing markers create an informal queue. Hand sanitizer is also available here.

Inside the Market, physical distancing markers are set up for guests wishing to enter shops. Like the castle silhouette markers we found elsewhere in Disneyland Park, these markers have been customized. This helps maintain the immersive theming and adds that special Disney touch.

A physical distancing marker shows guests where to stand at the checkout. The counter is outfitted with a plexiglass window as an additional safety precaution.

A closer look at the themed marker. The circular symbol is done in the same art style as much of the signage in Galaxy’s Edge.
